The 1000/6000 Dual Grit Pride Abrasive 8″ x 2″ Aluminum Oxide Water Stone is made from high quality bonded aluminum oxide. The more compact size of the 2″ wide stone offers a more convenient and portable size for travel. The 1000 Grit is a good place to start for general sharpening when you don’t have edge damage and delivers a coarse edge for aggressive slicing on a plain edge blade. 6000 Grit is a fine finishing stone for general sharpening delivering a fine satin finished edge fast.
